About the Team

You will be part of the in-house Paid Search Team directly managing SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and Product Listing Ad account strategies and executing day to day tactics to increase revenue, site traffic, and conversion and maximize return on ad spend across one or more of Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s (WSI) portfolio of Brands.

 

About the Role

In the Sr. Analyst role, you will be responsible for delivering regular reports, analysis and insights to measure and improve marketing program effectiveness. You will manage budgets including revenue and spend forecasts; manage seasonal keyword builds and audits, campaign testing, promotion execution, and daily bid optimization. This role reports to Director or Manager of SEM/PLAs.

Plan, manage, and execute paid search/ PPC campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, implementation of strategies in tool, campaign structure, budget management, and daily bidding. Plan, manage and execute advanced Shopping campaigns across Google and Bing Product Listing Ads. This includes understanding of product feed optimization, promotion management, local inventory ads, and campaign management. Work on daily campaign bid management with detailed attention to ROI and budget across both Paid Search and PLAs. Mentor junior team members supporting deployment of SEM and PLA best practices. Deliver weekly and ad hoc search performance reports to Marketing team and Brand partners. Participate in weekly meetings with Marketing partners to review SEM performance, and priorities. Support WSI’s digital testing plan supporting ideation, setup, reporting, and interpretation of large scale text and PLA tests.

A BS/BA or equivalent work experience  2-3 years minimum experience in online marketing with a focus on PLA and SEM campaign management, or equivalent experience Confidence with analyzing large data sets and making recommendations/developing and executing strategies from findings working closely with team High attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize technical detail and communicate across the organization Knowledge of a site analytics tool a plus Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to work well with a team

 

 

Technical Competencies required:

Strong MS Excel skills.  Google AdWords professional (GAP) and other SEM platforms certified a plus PLA and SEM bid management platform experience a plus MTA/Incrementality testing experience, good understanding of A/B testing best practices. Analytics platform experience (Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics) ETL platform familiarity (Snowflake, Domo, etc.)

The expected starting pay range for this position is : $77,000 - $93,000  annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
