DVG leverages a mix of acquisition, partnership, and venture investment strategies to develop products and services that improve care for patients suffering from kidney disease and related comorbidities. We are seeking two creative, passionate, and driven professionals with interest in healthcare to join our team.
Senior Analyst, Strategic Partnerships
The primary focus of this role will be aiding in the assessment, diligence, and execution of strategic partnerships related to tech-enabled services, medical devices and analytic products, and other areas across both early-stage and established companies.
Senior Analyst, M&A
The primary focus of this role will be supporting the strategy, identification and execution of acquisitions and investments to support DaVita’s long-term growth goals. Areas of focus include healthcare services, value-based care, technology and diagnostics, among other strategic areas.
Positions are based in Denver, CO and the team operates in a hybrid (in-person/remote) model.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Assist with the identification and assessment of potential investments / strategic partnerships that align with the company’s objectives, market trends, and competitive landscape. Directly engage patients, physicians, and other key stakeholders to understand the customer perspectiveMarket Research & Sourcing: Conduct primary and secondary market research to test core assumptions and develop partnership theses. Assist with making recommendations to leadership on external investment and partnership opportunities supported by research on market trends, competitive landscape analysis, reimbursement trends, regulatory considerations, and other indicators of business viabilityFinancial Modeling & Valuation: Lead the development of a broad range of financial and valuation models, including sourcing data inputs & assumptions across a broad range of primary / secondary resourcesPerformance Monitoring: Track and analyze partnership performance metrics to evaluate success and inform future strategic decisionsRelationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to foster collaboration and mutual benefitCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align partnership initiatives with business objectives and ensure successful executionQualifications & Required Skillset:
2-5 years of experience in corporate development / strategic partnerships, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, corporate finance, or a related field, preferably in healthcareM&A: Experience executing or advising on transactions in healthcarePartnerships: Experience assessing strategic opportunities through financial modeling, diligence, and data analysisFamiliarity with the clinical, operational, and financial drivers that impact decision-making in a healthcare organization (e.g., services, pharma, device, technology sectors are all relevant)Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, including mastery in the application of a range of financial modeling and business valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, forecasting, scenario analyses)Strong Excel and PowerPoint skillsIntellectually curious mindset and passion for developing novel partnership strategies to improve patient outcomesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsHighly collaborative, team-oriented workstyle and resourceful problem-solverCapability and desire to build strong internal / external network within the healthcare industryAbility to thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize across multiple initiatives, and navigate change / ambiguity effectively and with professional maturityApproaches work with an unparalleled level of personal ownership, responsibility, integrity, and ethicsPersonal values in line with DaVita's core values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment & Fun#LI-JS3

Salary/ Wage Range
$56,500.00 - $100,000.00 / yearCompensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
