Primary Responsibilities

The Cost Optimization Senior Analyst will coordinate, develop, and administer the necessary measures, reporting, processes, and communication related to supporting the end-to-end cost management experience at KeHE.  This role will focus on strengthening KeHE’s cost management processes through effective project coordination skills, clear and actionable communication, and strong attention to detail. This role will work cross-functionally across many areas of KeHE. As with all positions at KeHE, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Essential Functions

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates cross-functional milestones/events for internal end-to-end cost processes. Acts as a liaison between suppliers, cross-functional internal teams, and retailer facing team. Manages all communication with internal and external teams regarding KeHE cost review processes and goal of meeting key profit indicators (KPIs). Provides cost review analysis to Supply Chain internal team. Develops and provides a supplier calendar of deadlines for cross-functional deliverable items with a weekly recap to the internal team. Supports the creation of best practices and processes to improve and streamline the cost review process. Manages the cost review playbook, which represents the end-to-end process map for cost reviews. Develops and maintains content, builds a schedule for cost reviews, and holds process owners accountable to deliverables and SLAs through review meetings.Provides reporting of performance of the cost review playbook. Provides recommendations of changes and updates to the cost review playbook. Determines and escalates process decisions tied to SLAs. Communicates, interacts, and assists internal teams such as Supply Chain, Sales, Pricing, Transportation, Finance, Systems and Analytics with supplier or customer related issue resolution, supplier development, and special projects. Other duties and projects as assigned.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Ability to communicate effectively to all levels at the organization both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Smartsheet)Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) took such as Freshdesk, Salesforce, or similar function. Ability to independently handle tasks or projects. Strong attention to detail. Strong project management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload. Ability to travel 5% or less of the time. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree is required.5+ years of experience required.Prior experience in the food industry and/or code sensitive produce environment or Supplier Master Data experience preferred. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableu preferred.
