PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $125,700.00-$153,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $97,400.00 - $181,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.BENEFITS

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. As the Sr Affinity Partnership Manager, you have the power to shape and drive BECU’s affinity and preferred partnerships, playing a key role in expanding our reach and deepening relationships with valued partners. Your ability to build strategic alliances, foster meaningful collaborations, and implement innovative partnership strategies will fuel BECU’s growth and enhance our brand presence. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Develop & Execute Strategy: Define and lead the strategy for affinity, preferred, and college partnerships to support BECU’s growth while strengthening our brand and market position.Cultivate & Expand Partnerships: Build, manage, and enhance relationships with new and existing affinity and preferred partners, including associations and occupational groups, to open new sales channels and expand our reach.Identify Growth Opportunities: Research and evaluate new partnership opportunities, crafting compelling business cases that highlight the value of potential collaborations.Negotiate & Manage Agreements: Lead the negotiation, execution, and oversight of complex partnership agreements, working closely with BECU’s vendor management and legal teams.Be the Go-To Partner Expert: Serve as the primary contact for partners, offering strategic guidance and ensuring alignment between partnership goals and BECU’s objectives.Drive Key Initiatives: Oversee and implement significant programs such as affinity card initiatives, membership expansions, and DE&I-focused partnerships.Create Impactful Marketing Initiatives: Work alongside marketing teams to develop compelling campaigns that drive engagement and maximize the value of BECU’s partnerships.Ensure Strategic Communication & Alignment: Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies, ensuring internal and external stakeholders remain aligned with our business objectives.Manage Budgets & Optimize Resources: Oversee the financial aspects of affinity, preferred, and college partnerships, ensuring budget efficiency and goal attainment.Report Progress & Insights: Provide leadership with regular updates on partnership performance, challenges, and opportunities for future growth.Contribute Beyond Expectations: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to enhance BECU’s partnership initiatives and organizational success.This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list. Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex partnerships, preferably within financial services or a related field.Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in building and executing marketing activations to generate value.Demonstrated success in building and leveraging community outreach programs to enhance an organization’s public relations and brand visibility.Strong strategic and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across divers teams and organizational levels.
