Sr Advanced Systems Engineer

Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Mechanical Systems and Components organization in the Actuation Group. You will be integral in creating design solutions for actuation systems across the aerospace industry from flight control actuation on aircraft, missiles and launch vehicles. You will be involved in every aspect of the system life cycle; from the initial design concepts through product end of life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nLead the System and Component Requirements analysis and decomposition\nActuation system integration and component development\nMechanical Systems design and component controller integration\nElectro-Mechanical System and Component Modeling and Analysis\nControl architecture and design\nPhysics based model development and system design\nRoot cause and corrective action planning and execution\nMechanical Systems validation & verification\nCustomer technical interface\nEffective delegation of work to team members\nProject management performance and execution\nCost, schedule, and milestone development/management\nRisk (threats/opportunities) development and management\nCustomer communication and relationships\nUnderstand actuation technology\nMetric development/reporting\nHardware supplier technical communication/interface\nTechnical problem solving/Root cause analysis\nTechnical documentation – Test plans, procedures, and reports\nAnalysis of test data results\nAssess customer requirements documentation\nAssess Government regulatory requirements\nDesign validation and verification through build and test execution\nProposal development support of estimation of resources and schedule\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\nBachelors degree in EngineeringMinimum 5+ years of applied engineering experience\nU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS\n\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.\n\n
