If you're ready to leverage your actuarial skills in a collaborative and impactful environment, we invite you to apply and make a significant difference in our organization. + Actively contributes to the success of the Actuarial Services team + Evaluates moderately complex pharmacy trend analysis. + Reviews and observe appropriateness of actuarial formulae. + Performs actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses and calculations + Distributes established reports and responds to inquiries. Investigates trends and anomalies. + Participates in requirements gathering for and serves as delegate or backup for corporate projects. Generates ideas and analytical approaches for Departmental projects. + Provides support to senior actuaries as required. + Plans, implements, manages and/or contributes to projects that are moderate/high complexity. + Is a participant in good standing in the Actuarial Development Program **Hiring Requirements** + Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) + 4+ years of experience in relevant actuarial experience. Related experience may be considered. + Must have completed 5 or more exams towards the eventual attainment of the ASA designation. + In lieu of meeting minimum exam requirements, may consider additional relevant experience. + In lieu of meeting minimum experience requirement, may consider ASA or more exams towards the eventual attainment of ASA. **Nice to haves** + Experience with Pharmacy Analytics is strongly preferred + Advanced skills in SQL + Advanced Analytical Problem-Solving Skills + Strong Communication Skills **Salary Range** At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed.
