This position supports the accounting responsibilities within the Accounting Office. The position works among cross functional teams to ensure the accounting activities are appropriately analyzed, processed, and documented in compliance with internal controls, process and procedure, and local country regulations.
**What you'll do**

+ Support day to day oversight of the Disburesements and Banking activities
+ Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and associated journal entries
+ Support various tax/statistical filings
+ Work on multiple projects simultaneously, setting deadlines and adjusting priorities
+ Present results and follow-through to completion for all initiatives
+ Supervise a team daily
+ Ensure that invoices are processed on time and chase invoices where necessary
+ Oversee month-end AP close and ensure it is processed accurately
+ Liaise with vendors/ stations to resolve discrepancies and handle queries that arise in the payment and processing of invoices
+ Work closely with all stations
+ Perform timesheet validation
+ Perform absence tracking and audits
+ Process new hires, leavers and pay changes
+ Perform Pay Plan reviews when applicable
+ Assist and/or complete misc. ad hoc projects as assigned
+ Meet accounting goals and deadlines
+ Review accounting policies and procedures
+ Be familiar with auditing procedures
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ University degree with a focus in Accounting, or other equivalent education/training
+ At least one year of experience working in an accounting environment
+ Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
+ Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English
**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ Demonstrated knowledge of SAP
+ Qualified or Part Qualified CPA, ACCA, AAT, MBA, or equivalent education/certification
