Summary

IGT’s System team is focused on providing Operators with innovative casino systems solutions and products that will help increase their ROI. Some examples of IGT Systems products are Service Window or the Advantage suite.

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer who can contribute to the testing of such innovative solutions within IGT systems and deliver a world class customer experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for quality and a solid track of record devising and executing testing strategies for complex systems.

Responsibilities Participate in the testing and verification process of IGT systems software to ensure it meets required customer jurisdictional and functionality specifications and regulatory requirements. Leads the testing for major features in projects and occasionally review the work of other engineers. Responsible for early QA involvement in product development planning.  Offers QA perspective on design and potential issues.  Applies information to QA test planning and training. Writes test plans and test cases or scripts. Documents test methods and findings, summarizes results and recommends fixes. Perform troubleshooting and in-depth analysis into errors or issues before documenting defects or communicating to engineering. Investigates and escalates issues found during QA testing as well as field issues. Assess, implement and utilize software tools used by the QA teams for code analysis and white box testing. Occasionally contribute to develop automation to support test plans. Performs root cause analysis using various QA methodologies. Participates in creating and implementing QA testing practices and procedures.  Qualifications Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information Technologies or Computer Science required or equivalent. 0-2 years of experience in software engineering quality assurance. Programming background in one or more of: C#, Java Script, HTML5, SQL for test scripts/automated test tools Experienced in planning test effort for large-scale projects. Excellent knowledge of QA processes and methodologies. Good written and verbal communications, be self-motivated, attention to detail, and work well in a team environment. Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain a gaming card. Occasional travel required.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,990 - $96,845. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
