Posting Details Position Information Job Title Spring 2025 Social Media Coordinator Department Admissions Job Description/Duties This position will be an essential partner in the social media production and content distribution of the admissions office at SUNY Cortland.
Responsibilities include:
Generating consistent social media content Generating 1-2 posts/week Using stories to highlight accounts across campus Designing cover imagery for department videos Maintaining content calendar
There also may be the opportunity to additional earn internship credit in this role. If interested, please inquire throughout the hiring process. Days/Hours Needed Number of hours- TBD, Potentially 5-8 hours each week Specific time ranges- Flexible, some weekday availability preferred.
Campus Location/Bldg. Miller Building and remote Required Qualifications Must be a current SUNY Cortland tudent Passion for social media and graphic design Demonstrated experience creating effective, engaging social media content through videos, graphics, or photos Knowledge of social media best practices and trends Flexible schedule, including weekends Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications Interest to be on camera, and publicly engaging with the SUNY Cortland Community is a plus but not required Demonstrated experience and knowledge using TikTok
