Job Summary

Reporting to the Rehabilitation Team Lead,  the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for comprehensive patient management including  evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention, and patient/family education for development and implementation of individualized care planning in the home setting.    Opportunities include working directly in a multidisciplinary fashion, including specialty care groups such as Parkinson’s Disease, Covid Recovery and Post-Acute Stroke care.  The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills in Speech-Language Pathology, with opportunity for clinical growth through education, in-services, and care management groups.  This Home Care environment offers family-friendly, flexible hours.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Experience At least one year prior Acute or Rehab experience is preferred. Licensure and/or Certification MA SLP license. BLS required within 30 days from hire. Skills Clinical expertise for patient population. Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs. Communication skills. Assessment skills. Critical thinking skills. Organizational skills. Problem-solving skills Computer skills. Ability to maintain confidential information.
