Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ **Responsibilities:** GENERAL PURPOSE: Works as part of an interdisciplinary team and assigned a NYS licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist clinical supervisor who provides guidance to satisfy requirements for both licensure and completion of the ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CFY). **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** + Completes the evaluation/assessment of multiple acquired conditions that impact communication abilities. Designs and implements an appropriate plan of care for treatment and revisions to meet a patient’s individual needs. + Provides rehabilitative services to a wide range of acquired impairments in the areas of communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders. + Prepares clinical reports and departmental paperwork as required. Other duties as assigned. **MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE** + Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited training institution required + Or equivalent combination of education and experience **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES** + Ability to operate standard office machines and office computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint) required + Ability to learn computer programs related to electronic medical records and charge capture/schedule systems required + Basic operating knowledge of standard diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures and related test equipment/materials used in Speech Pathology required + Ability to pass required mandatory in-service and staff competency training, which may include FIM administration required **LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS** + NYS interim licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, or proven eligibility for licensure upon hire required **EOE Minorities / Females / Protected Veterans / Disabled:** The University of Rochester is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion to advance the University’s mission to Learn, Discover, Heal, Create – and Make the World Ever Better.
