Speech Pathologist, Casual
The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats a variety of communication/swallowing disorders but is not limited to aphasia, voice, speech/language, closed head injury deficits (cognitive, linguistic, memory, attention), fluency (including stuttering), aural rehabilitation, non-verbal (augmentative communication), oral and pharyngeal stage of swallowing. **Responsibilities:** 1. Prepares diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations. 2. Maintains compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies' requirements. 3. Provides diagnostic evaluative services for Speech-Language Pathology clients. 4. Delivers appropriate speech pathology treatments. 5. Actively participates in staff meetings, development, and in-service education. 6. Adheres to organizational policies, including Corporate Compliance and HIPAA. 7. Maintains confidentiality and accurate progress notes. 8. Provides excellent customer service with a positive attitude. 9. Coordinates evaluation, scheduling, and treatment programs. 10. Pursues professional growth and development, and participates in educational programs.
