Comments and Other Information Responsibilities Provides appropriate, research-based scaffolds and differentiates instruction Implements Individualized Education Plans and student goals Collects and analyzes data, and uses it to drive decisions Collect and analyzes data to track IEP goal progress to drive intervention planning Implements Individualized Education Plans and student goals Maintains student records; prepares reports on student performance; prepares other reports as requested. Consult with colleagues, supervisors, and other professionals regarding the special education and general education needs of individual students. Serves as a resource to school staff and families in the development of a balanced program for communication and speech-language development. Assists and guides teachers/parents in observing, describing and referring students with suspected and/or identified speech-language problems. Provides a thorough assessment and diagnosis of articulation, voice, fluency, and language. Provides screening to specified grade levels at regular intervals to identify speech and/or language-impaired children. Comments and Other Information
