Responsibilities Responsible for assisting with Noble Health Services operations and profitabilityFollow all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of PharmacyResponsible for clinical and operational support of Noble Health Services Clinical and Patient Management ProgramsPerforms all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelinesOversight of clinical decision making and accountability to the organization for those decisionsResponsible for patient drug utilization reviews and analysisResponsible for adverse event reportingResponsible for suggesting appropriate alternative therapies when warrantedResponsible for assisting to ensure that our clinical management program is compliant with the most current standards set by our accreditation bodiesEnsure compliance with all Noble policies and procedures at all timesMonitors all pharmacy claims for proper reimbursementAssist in managing the pharmacy inventory.Assist in ensuring all records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelinesEnsures compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to New York State and all other states that prescriptions are dispensed and delivered toMaintains confidentiality regarding all patient informationAssist in the training and development of clinical and pharmacy department personnelParticipate in Quality Management Committee as requiredObtain and maintain required licensure in home state and other states as requiredServe as the responsible licensed pharmacist in other states as requiredResponsible for keeping current with state/federal regulatory changes and business trends within the industryResponsible for periodic consultation with practitioners in the fieldResponsible for meeting the on-call requirement of positionResponsible for meeting the scheduling requirements of the positionResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsInterface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all timesPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications

Education:

Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of PharmacyCurrent unrestricted Pharmacist license in New YorkObtain and maintain other states licenses as requiredCertified Specialty Pharmacist through NASP’s Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board (or must sit for the exam once the minimum specialty hours are satisfied) as required

 

Experience Preferred:Preferred:  2-3 Years of practice in a specialty pharmacy setting2-3 Years of experience in a managed care setting3-5 Years of practice in a traditional retail setting performing MTM’s

 

Compensation

 

$130,000-135,200.00 per year.

 

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
