Nine service units – Membership Services, Business Office, Information Technology, Communications/Marketing, Facility Scheduling/Event Management, Training & Development, Custodial Services, Equipment Management, and Maintenance – support the program functions to provide seamless customer service to CSU students, employees, and their families. Campus Recreation facilities, programs, and services promote a sense of community, support student development through leadership and employment opportunities, and encourage the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle to a diverse University population. Department webpage: http://csurec.colostate.edu/ Search Contact Emailgeorgia.garrett@colostate.edu Position Summary The Specialty Class Instructor is responsible for leading various, semester-long, drop-in oriented group classes for Campus Recreation patrons, promoting health, wellness, and development in areas of martial arts or dance. Instructors will operate independently in the class studios and enforce program participation policies, provide safe and effective education and instruction and apply risk management procedures in emergency situations. Position Minimum Qualifications Nationally recognized Instructor Certification with pass/fail testing element ( ACE , ACSM , NSCA , NASM or others as accepted by Assistant Director, Fitness). OR Completion of the Campus Recreation Fitness Instructor Training ( FIT ) course and exam.
