Three years related experience or experience in a related field. Investigative experience preferred. Certifications may be required. A combination of education, experience and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. Nature & Purpose of Position Performs advanced specialist duties for the Office of Title IX & Discrimination Resolution. Primary Responsibilities Develops, facilitates, monitors, and coordinates case management services (intake, referral, communication, supportive measures, and ongoing support) in addressing complaints of sexual misconduct or other forms of discrimination. Duties include recordkeeping of intakes, referrals, and communication with complainants, respondents, and other parties. Conducts intake interviews and processes inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and administrators related to sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, gender-related violence including stalking, dating and domestic violence, and any protected class discrimination, harassment, and/or related retaliation. Advises complainants and respondents on policies and procedures. Oversees, organizes, and maintains grievance files, investigative reports, and other records. Assists with campus-wide training and outreach programs for students, faculty, and staff related to sexual misconduct and discrimination. Tracks student, faculty, and staff completion of required trainings. Performs administrative and fiscal support duties including, prepares and disseminates departmental documents and correspondence, orders and maintains supply inventory, processes payments, monitors budget and is responsible for and schedules appointments and activities. Oversees website. Manages databases for online campus prevention training and case management software. May also be assigned to investigate complaints filed by students, faculty, or staff. Performs other related duties as assigned. Other Specifications Requires a general knowledge of standard office software. Must be able to apply policies and procedures to solve routine problems of a repetitive nature and make suggestions for process improvement. Requires excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written. Attention to detail is critical. Knowledge of Title VII and Title IX is helpful. Interacts effectively with various populations and various departments of the University.
