This is a non-union positionOur Customer Policy & Strategy team is looking for an exceptionally dedicated individual to join their dynamic team and lead the business effort to assess alternative methods for evaluating system needs. As a Specialist, Customer Policy you will support consultation with stakeholders on the IRP DCF+ methodology and be instrumental in developing the regulatory application to the OEB.

What You Will Do:Foster cross-functional collaboration across teams to enable strategic alignment.
Lead discussion and develop content on DCF+ topics in the IRP Technical Working Group (TWG) meetings.
Recommend strategic positions based on industry working group discussions, self-directed research from other jurisdictions, internal feedback, and other relevant sources.
Drive completion of the DCF+ methodology and support regulatory requirements needed as part of the first non-pilot IRP application.
Prepare evidence and interrogatory responses for submission to the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for IRP and Facilities Applications (LTCs), including appearing as a witness before the OEB on IRP DCF+ methodology.
Work closely with Strategic Financial Evaluations to jointly ensure updates to the DCF+ Supplemental Guide are maintained, to assess adherence to DCF+ methodology implementation, and to interpret results.
Monitor data inputs and new information that could be used in DCF+ calculations to support continuous improvement.
Who You Are:Related University degree, preferably with a specialization in Finance.
7+ years of directly related experience along with at least 3+ years of progressive leadership experience.
Advanced communication skills, critical thinking, eye for business, interpersonal skills, influencing skills and prioritization.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships.
Operates with a high degree of independence.
Working Conditions:Position works in typical office environment with approximately 20% of travel within Ontario.
