Key Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze team and departmental training needs, develop training objectives, and determine the best instructional methods. Identify initial and refresher training requirements for compliance and regulatory standards. Design and deliver technical training materials in accordance with company and industry regulations. Develop multimedia visual aids and presentations for enhanced learning experiences. Provide classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, and workshops. Ensure learning content is built using adult learning principles and the most effective delivery methods. Develop and deliver on-the-job training and assessments across multiple disciplines. Evaluate trainee progress and provide assistance to facilitate skill enhancement. Monitor and improve training methodologies and procedures based on feedback. Produce reports, analyses, and evaluations to support site learning and development initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement projects related to training, safety, and cost efficiency. Foster strong cross-functional relationships to enhance collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Education:
Recognized qualification in training and/or a Degree/Diploma in Science or Engineering. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and teaching in a classroom or business setting. Proven expertise in developing operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials. Experience in delivering technical training to a diverse workforce. Relevant experience in a complex manufacturing environment, preferably within the smelting sector or a related industry. Experience in learning and development within an industrial environment, particularly in Saudi Arabia or other Arab states, is highly desirable. Must possess extensive knowledge of metallurgy Skills & Knowledge:
Fluent or near-fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic work environments. Capability to engage and influence teams effectively.
