Role Purpose

At Nedbank, we're redefining the future of learning. As a Specialist in Learning Design and Development, you'll leverage your business acumen and learning expertise to design and implement cutting-edge learning architectures that deliver real business impact. Your role will be crucial in creating human-centred, commercially relevant learning experiences that drive our strategic goals.

What You’ll Do

In this dynamic role, you'll provide expert learning experience design consulting and implementation skills, translating business strategies into impactful learning solutions. You'll partner with business SMEs and the Enterprise Learning Community and leverage design thinking to design and implement digital, blended, and augmented learning experiences that deliver business value. Managing large-scale learning projects from needs analysis to post implementation support will be a key part of your role, ensuring continuous improvement and high-impact learning outcomes. You'll lead and implement the technical production of learning experiences, manage vendor relationships, and drive a culture of continuous learning through the design of exceptional learning experiences.

Qualifications and Experience 8-10 years of experience in learning experience design, including digital platforms and tools. Relevant B-Degree or equivalent in Learning Experience Design or related field. Proven track record in developing blended and digital learning solutions with significant business impact. Expertise in UI/UX, learning technologies, and instructional design. Strong project management skills and experience in agile methodologies. Excellent communication, analytical skills, and decision-making ability in collaborative environments.
