Specialist, Talent Acquisition

General Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success within their scope of responsibility. This position will be part of a team responsible for developing recruitment ideas and plans, identifying sourcing strategies, and advising managers. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the best possible talent is sourced and hired.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Ensure company compliance with established hiring procedures, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action policiesWork cross-functionally to help with the recruiting efforts in both Field Operations, Contact Center, and Corporate departmentsHandles high workloads of 15 to 20 requisitions at any given timeConfer with Hiring Managers to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skillsWorking with company’s requisition and job posting process; create, refresh and remove job postings from various sitesSource candidates for positions; utilize a variety of recruitment resourcesInitiate contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openingsReview resumes and forward to hiring managersAct as a business partner with managers and supervisors to communicate policies, procedures, programs and lawsUpdate live reports in Excel and other software in consistence with where the team is at in the recruiting processOnboard new employees using a variety of systems as neededLiaise with a wide range of organizations involved in areas such as diversity, disability, gender, age, religion and health and safetyAdministrative duties and recordkeeping 

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using various job boards and creative sourcing strategies Experience recruiting in a variety of departments such as Field Operations, Contact Center, etc. Required Problem solving skills RequiredExperience working with large workloads and competing prioritiesApplicant Tracking Systems experience (ADP Recruitment Management a plus)Proficient with ExcelExcellent verbal, social and written communication skillsExcellent teamwork, interpersonal, self-motivations and communication skills requiredAbility to effectively interact with all levels of the organizationAbility to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and be flexible to changing assignment priority 

Working Conditions

Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employees are occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area.
