Job Title: Specialist, Quality Assurance - G overnment and Commercial Contracts Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Code: 17198 Job Schedule: 9/80 every other Friday off As a Quality Assurance Specialist at our dynamic organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our government and commercial contract deliverables. Your expertise in document review and keen understanding of contractual obligations will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of quality and service. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct thorough reviews of government and commercial contracts, sales orders, and related documentation to verify accuracy and adherence to delivery requirements. + Utilize your foundational knowledge of WAWF/PIEE systems to ensure seamless processing of invoices and receiving reports. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed monthly performance objectives. + Ensure contractual compliance, including ITAR regulations, and facilitate the release of sales orders for delivery. + Generate and scrutinize critical shipping documents such as DD250, DD1149, OTS, and MOTS to guarantee precision. + Enhance customer relations through effective communication and problem-solving skills. + Navigate L3Harris processes and contacts adeptly, providing guidance to peers and customers on intermediate issues. + Delegate tasks to address and rectify sales order discrepancies, fostering a culture of personal accountability. + Offer constructive feedback to colleagues across various departments, including Contracts, Program Management, and Quality. + Engage in presentations and contribute to team efforts aimed at continuous improvement through innovative solutions. + Demonstrate a solid understanding of COMSEC and export licensing requirements. + Exhibit leadership qualities by motivating others and maintaining enthusiasm under challenging circumstances. + Be willing to work additional hours as necessary to support the organization's objectives. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: + Moderate to advanced knowledge of job-specific functions, acquired through both formal education and practical experience. + Proficiency with government systems such as WAWF, PIEE, EDA, etc. + A solid grasp of COMSEC and export licensing requirements. + Familiarity with Quality clauses within the industry. + Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of handling complex discussions. + Agile and adaptable to rapidly changing conditions, with a focus on continuous improvement. + Detail-oriented with the ability to understand and follow intricate procedures. + Availability to work overtime, particularly at month-end, to meet business needs.
