Job Description:

Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking a Project Engineer for our Orange, VA location. The Project Engineer role involves performing and/or coordinating propulsion program tasks in conjunction with program management. Under limited general direction, you will be responsible for implementing design and analysis tasks and overseeing special studies and experiments. Additionally, you will coordinate ballistic, thermal, and structural analyses, as well as perform post-test examination, analyses, and reporting while supporting the program technical lead. The following knowledge points and skills are ideal:

Essential Functions:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is desired.Two (2) or more years of experience with solid propellant propulsion projects is highly desired. Hands on technical knowledge is desired.CAD knowledge is desirable.
