What you will do at Baxter:Provide clear direction on projects related to material component changes and product design to meet the expectations of customers and collaborators.Lead large teams in defining program strategies, developing goals, assigning project tasks, and ensuring the team meets all goals.Provide program updates and conduct reviews with all levels of management.Use project management tools to develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with line managers and other manufacturing leaders.Set project strategies, schedules, resource alignment, and financial analysis.Approve team deliverables for project completion.Provide technical support in all phases of product manufacturing.What will bring!Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or Chemistry.Master’s degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or Chemistry (preferred).Minimum of 6 years of experience in: Compatibility and comparability studies, Formulation experience Filtration experience/expertise, Terminal sterilization (Steam/Gamma/eBeam), Plastics expertise (PVC, polycarbonates, etc), Packaging engineering Transport validation.Knowledge of Procurement processes (highly preferred).Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interface well with other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in a team environment.Must be proficient in project management tools and possess knowledge of related fields.PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification (preferred).Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience, as well as project management tools.Proficiency in crafting and implementing projects/studies outside the area of expertise.Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).Our company is committed to equal opportunity and values diversity.
