Specialist, MRP **Date:** Jan 30, 2025 **Location:** Taichung, TW, 407 **Company:** Corning **Role Purpose** + Assure material supply without supply disruption and ensure material delivery at right time, right quality, right quantity. + Beresponsibleforensuringthe material availability to meet production need as well as to control inventory inoptimal level. **Key Responsibilities** + SAP /MRP planning implementationincluding but not limit to master data management and trouble shooting. + Determining the required materials and generating purchase order according to MRP plan and inventory strategy. + Supplier’s order management including but not limit to industrial mineral, package material and consumable parts, oversee OTD rate and solve delivery issue proactively to ensure allthematerialsare able to meet the productiontarget or schedule. + ManageopenPO, safety stockandconductfrequent communicationswith cross-functional stakeholders on all issues relating to quality, cost, delivery, service and compliance. **Experiences/Education - Required** + Must be knowledgeable ofsupply managementor planning. + Capability in data analytics, simulation andproblem solving. + Well communication skills, including experience clarifying information in a friendly and positive manner. + Ability to establish priorities, multitask, work independently. **Experiences/Education - Desired** + Experience with adopting D^T tools (Power BI, Office automation or VBA…etc.) is preferable.
