About the Job:

Acts as Company's ultimate technical authority and advisor in the area of fluid characterization and PVT related activities that includes fluids analysis, sampling, quality control and EOS modelling. Provide expert/consultancy services and technical support to concerned parties on fluid characterization related matters and assists them to achieve their objectives in the areas of Technology Management, Technical Challenges, Standard Practices and Knowledge Sharing.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of fluid sampling, fluid phase behaviour, fluid property measurement, data quality control for fluids, EOS modelling and guide the conducting of related activities and studies that directly impact on short and long term field development plans.
- Identifies and recommend new practices and process management tools for enhancing the integration and optimization of reservoir simulation workflow process to achieve world class quality standards and process optimization.
- Provides technical guidance to assets in designing sampling and analysis programs for routine PVT studies, flow assurance studies and EOR Studies as applicable to accurately describe reservoir fluid behaviours under different conditions.
- Provides technical solutions for various challenges related to data quality from laboratory for different studies or EOS quality to describe the reservoir behaviour.
- Provides technical guidance on Enhanced oil recovery processes including miscible /immiscible gas injection processes and coordinate with EOR strategic advisors, provide Advanced (EOR) PVT advice in support of ADNOC EOR pilots/project
- Develops and validate EOS model in initializing compositional simulation model for different reservoir nature (saturated/under saturated) and based on large number of routine/EOR studies with different gas injection schemes. Updates and develops standard operating procedure in the area of fluid analysis, sampling and quality control.
- Prepares technical scope of work and technical evaluation for PVT bids and tenders.
- Communicates with the shareholders on the transfer of PVT related technology to ADNOC onshore and participates in the activities of related professional Societies to promote ADNOC image.
- Work jointly with other Discipline Experts to provide multidisciplinary solutions and to integrate applications around processes, tools, techniques, software, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Qualification
- Preferable to have MSc and/or PhD in fluid characterization area.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 15 years' experience in the petroleum industry, covering advanced PVT/EOR, EOS development.
- Industry-recognized authority in PVT with in-depth theoretical and practical experience.
- Working knowledge of various PVT software and tools.
