Job Description:
As an Electrical Engineer Specialist in the Agile Development Group (ADG), you will be part of developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV). Your main duties will include working test and integration of electrical systems including circuit card assemblies containing analog, digital, power and high-speed circuits, along with supporting cables and wiring harnesses for UAS / UAV’s, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies.
Essential Functions:
Execute system, CCA and component level functional testing and document results. Debug and perform root cause analysis as needed.Coordinate with Systems and Mechanical Engineering to integrate new electronic hardware.Setup, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices to perform verification and validation.Participate in design of product support test hardware including breakout boards and interface cable fixtures.Interact with software engineers to test and troubleshoot electrical circuits and interfaces of the CCAsDevelop test plans and procedures for digital subsystems and all relevant documentation for design description and requirementsQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree in engineering or science and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related Electrical Engineering experience.Must be eligible to obtain a government security clearanceHands-on experience with digital test equipment including oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, signal generator, and power metersProfessional experience working with the following technologies:Advanced processorsI2C, SPI, RS232, RS422, Ethernet, PCIe, RS485, and USB interfacesPower switching circuitsMotor driversPreferred Additional Skills:
