Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Specialist, Counseling Services - Boca Raton, FL
Provide easy access to high-quality mental health services for FAU students to help them succeed academically and interpersonally.
Provide intake assessment and time-limited counseling for college students.
Provide group therapy.
Provide clients with community level interventions, outreach and consultation.
Participate in psychological emergency, crisis intervention and trauma response.
Provide outreach, prevention, and educational programs for students, faculty and staff.
Provide supervision to practicum students and interns
Maintain confidentiality of mental health services offered.
Follow FAU CAPS procedures and policies, including documentation of health records.
Engage in professional learning and maintain up-to-date knowledge of strategies and supports.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree from an accredited institution in mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work.Valid license as a Mental Health Counselor to practice in the state of Florida under Florida Statute 491 or license eligible within 6 months of hire.
Salary:
