Hello Future Specialised Recovery Unit Manager

As part of our talent team in WB Motor Operations the Specialised Recovery Unit Manager manages the department tasked with the investigation, field operations and ultimate recovery of absconded clients and alienated goods.

The recovery process must be managed through active networks in the industry and across the country, finding hidden clients and bank assets.

Must have a strong risk identification and fraud management forensic background which will play a critical role in building technological systems to seek, find and return alienated assets. Requires a hands-on person who is willing to handle priority cases personally.

Ensures customer service solutions are aligned to the operational business planEnsures resourcing decisions are aligned to the Transformation PlanDevelops, supports and manages best practice collections or recoveries process to achieve targets within legislated and agreed deadlinesResearches, designs and implements best practice customer service solutionsManages Service Level Agreements and contracts with internal and external stakeholders according to the procurement policy and site visitsEnsures legislative compliance and alignment to group frameworks whilst fulfilling business objectivesManages the business processes for area of responsibilityManages Fleet vehicles, Fuel cards, E-tags ectEnsures customer excellence through interaction with internal and external customers throughout all business activitiesManages and reports on relevant processes, using management information to guide best practice operational decisionsManages the required resources to enable business performance and achieve business objectivesImplements performance management across the area of responsibilityParticipates in planned activities that are appropriate for own and staff development in area of responsibilityManages and controls costs in area of responsibilityManages and reports on cost usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parametersManaged through active networks in the industry and across the country, finding hidden clients and bank assets.Responsible for legal compliance, National Credit Act and Debt Collectors Codes of conduct, developing new company policies and implementing them accordingly.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Minimum Qualification - MatricPreferred Qualification – Post Secondary Education relevant to the position and our industry is preferredExperience – 5 to 8 Years experience within the role with key understanding of Collections Process and procedures Additional Requirements: Extensive travelling with the national regions required, must be comfortable navigating general geographical arears
