Here, we draw upon our leading expertise, best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis, a home-like setting, and a team approach to help children enjoy significant quality of life improvements. We provides care to children and adolescents with acute behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Plans and implements classroom instruction, specializing within one or more areas of curriculum, to specifically meet the educational needs of students and to encourage the best possible student educational experience.  

 Assesses abilities and capabilities of individual students; develops, organizes, and implements lesson plans and activities that are individual-specific, meet the learning needs of each student, encourage increased skills, and address specific IEP goalsMonitors existing IEPs to ensure that stated educational goals and objectives are appropriate, achievable, and continue to meet the educational needs of individual studentsRecommends appropriate modifications to the existing IEPMay conduct parent training in the classroom and at homeUtilize the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis throughout observation, intervention, data collection, and assessment Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Have a Bachelor’s degree Hold a Standard License in "NJ Pre-K to 3 or K to 6 or K-8"Hold a Standard License in “NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD)” or “Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH)”Knowledge of teaching methods and educational programs designed for students with learning, physical and behavior disabilities.Effective teaching and facilitation skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills required EEO Statement
