We are currently seeking Special Education Teachers who are comfortable working with children with disabilities and in a team environment instructing students in a functional classroom. Develops and implements instructional programs for students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders and students with Autism. This unique position is at Upper Darby School District with an option of ESY.

**Schedule**
+ Monday - Friday, 8am - 3:15pm
+ Extended School Year- Monday to Friday 8:15am to 12:15pm

+ Deliver education lessons in a small classroom setting
+ Implement IEP's and track education goals
+ Support and reinforce PBIS goals and objectives

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Special Education OR other degree in education or human services required.
+ Pennsylvania Instructional I Certification and or eligible for emergency certification through PDE.
+ Willingness to participate in ABA training and specifically Verbal Behavior training
+ Working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders. _(Preferred)_
+ Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position).
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.
