District located in Fairfield, SC
Position: Special Education Teacher
Start Date: 2/3/25 Length: Remainder of 24/25 SY Shift: M-F | 37.5 hr/wk
Classroom Openings/setting:
1) SPED Teacher -Academic support/ self-contained/ virtual structure -Max caseload (students come and go into this school) – 11 students -Mostly middle school and high school -No TAs in the classroom
2) High School SPED Teacher -Moderate Intellectual Disabilities – Self Contained -3 TAs in classroom- trying to split a class -Students would go back and forth through two teachers -One teacher would go over some things and the other would go over other – School day start around 8- 8:30A and ends around 2:30PM- 3PM
Requirements/Credentials: Must be certified teacher in SC
W2 position employee with Amergis Staffing (Not the district), you will only be expected to work hours assigned on the contract. No unpaid required after school duties.
