The Specialist Sim, Airtime, MSISDNs Operations ensure the survey monitoring of various billing system availability, and ensure product (Sim, Voucher, Number 100% availability) . He also ensure capacity upgrade forecasting .The Specialist Sim, Airtime, MSISDNs Operations plays a critical role in optimizing billing practices to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue.

Key accountabilities and decision ownershipThe Specialist Sim, Airtime, Msisdns Operations will be responsible of the following functions within the Billing and IT department:
2.1 Sim Administration ;
• SIM provisioning and churn management
• First support for all complains related to SIM processes and transactions
• Systems capacity planning and management including churn, Pseudo conversion activity and advice for SIM ordering.
• Management end to end Sim Process, from generation to transfer data to the suppliers
• To monitor and produce on daily basis the MSISDN report
• To ensure there is sufficient numbers (long and short numbers) resources for the business requirements
• To monitor short codes weekly basis according to the New applications from Vodacom Business Department
• To ensure that Numbering management is complied with NRA requirements
• To manage back-up of NUMBERING Plan Information recorded on OneDrive
• To ensure that the management of the numbering plan is covered by approved policies and processes
2.2 Responsible of E_Vouchers Allocation
• To manage the end-to-end E-Vouchers activities
• To ensure there is sufficient E-Vouchers resources for the business requirements
• To monitor Activation process daily basis according to the new applications from Vodacom Supply Chain Service.
• To ensure that all SD transactions are according to SOP documents
• To manage JO and FORMS for Suspension, Remove Suspension, Allocation, Importation and Activation From SCM division
• To ensure that the management of Suspension, Remove Suspension, Allocation, Importation and Activation is covered by approved policies and processes
2.3 VBU Business Vertical Support (SMPP, USSD, Revenue Share, Data Fixed products…):
•VBU Business Vertical Tickets Resolution:
•Timely resolution of VBU Customers Tickets
•Support for VBU new initiatives required BIT Involvement
•Provide automated tools and dashboard to facilitate VBU recurrent requests
•Long Term Resolution of VBU raised billing incidents
•VBU Business Vertical requirements Delivery:
•Ensure Billing Data (KPIs, KGS, Tariffs…) daily analysis
•Ensure Billing Transactions (SMPP, USSD, Revenue share) daily integrity assurance
•Ensure Subscribers Databases Daily Integrity Assurance (regen)
2.4 E2E Bill Run Activities down to Invoicing (Charging to Billing)
•Charging and Billing Integrity & Assurance (Fixed Data Product, SMPP, USSD…) recon & monitoring tools and alerts to ensure that all existing tariffs and bundle are in conformity with duly approved Vodacom Tariff Documents.
•Automated recon & monitoring trends tools and alerts to ensure that all existing VBU products are in conformity with duly approved Vodacom Tariff Documents.
•Implementation of automated recon & monitoring tools to ensure completeness and integrity of postpaid bill run activities (ghost customers, customers not billed …)
•Integrity Assurance of billing data posted into financial system.
•Integrity Assurance of billing data and invoices delivered to customers.
2.5 Billing Support for new VBU product rollout
•Work closely with NPD & PMO team to ensure that all new products/features required by VBU are timely and accurately deployed for SMPP, USSD, Fixed products & Revenue share
•Support in providing Integrity validation reports prior the rollout of a new billing platform, products, and features.

- Responsibilities related to this position require that the candidate be resident in Kinshasa, the DR of CONGO.
- This position requires a candidate to be disciplined, capable of engaging with both peers IT and Managers and Vodacom DRC leaders to secure support of the VBU end to end Process up to the invoice production, within BIT.
- The candidate must be willing to work long hours in general and specifically when handling the SMPP, USSD, Fixed product & revenue share month-end activities. The role suggests that for some critical tasks, to the extent that it is reasonably acceptable,
- The Specialist Sim, Airtime, Msisdns Operations will be subjected to work until task completion as opposed official work start and end time. The compensation for such break hours will be made in accordance with the Billing Administration & Technology Assurance
