Overview The Enterprise Epic Training Specialist 1, relating to their supported application(s) and for all UF Health locations, participates in new and ongoing training projects; provides efficient and effective Epic training and education for upgrades, new projects, new users, and ongoing support and education; and collaborates with Principal and Certified Trainers, Super Users, and end-users. The Training Specialist must have a working understanding of Epic system functionality and/or departmental workflows as they relate to the supported Epic application(s). The Training Specialist must have strong planning, communication, and relationship skills and maintain a flexible schedule to meet customer needs. The Training Specialist primarily supports one service area/location, however, may be required to support the application(s) at any UF Health location based on need and as assigned by their manager. Qualifications Required Education: Associate's Degree Preferred Education: An Associate�s Degree (AA or AS) from an accredited college/university plus three (3) years of relevant work experience required; however, an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a Degree. A Bachelor�s degree may be substituted for experience. Necessary Skills: 1. Ability to work in a team-oriented and highly productive environment. 2. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and efficiently with all customers and leadership. 3. Ability to represent UF Health as a knowledgeable Epic subject matter expert. 4. Familiarity with information flow in a major health care facility. 5. Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office applications and training software. Required Licensure/Certifications: Epic Credentialed Trainer status in supported application within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position. Preferred Licensure/Certifications: Epic Application Curriculum Certification Required Experience: Less than one year Adult Education, EMR workflows, Hospital Preferred Experience: Knowledge of Epic EMR, departmental workflows Age of Patients Served: N/A
