Core Description
To provide support to the Sales effort by providing technical and client specific solution assistance to BCX Engagement. This is done through investigation, consultation and a thorough understanding of our client’s requirements which is achieved through co-operation and interaction with the Client, Client Engagement, Product Management and Technical Architecture Divisions.
Typically, will play a key role developing new business and take full responsibility for the full solution response of proposal preparation
Key Deliverables / Primary Functions• Assist Engagement to identify sales opportunities
• Interpret and translate business requirements into an ICT Service solution
• Support Engagement in responding to new business opportunities
• Evaluation of proposed solution components to ensure consistency
• Create proposal addressing Business Requirement Specification, defining an ICT Services solution
• Ensure cost duplication is eliminated
• Management, coordination & facilitation of the solution design process.
• Coordinate activities between Services and Engagement to facilitate solution development
• Schedule and facilitate solution development workshops
• Follow the proposal format
• Co-ordinate, manage and schedule dates and timing of the proposal
• Conduct progress meetings
• Participate in pricing model development
• Present solution
• Perform detail business risk assessments
• Consult during the transition of solution
A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within the field of technology pre-sales.
If only Grade 12, a minimum of 7 years’ experience (Technical and pre- sales) would be required
