Job Title: Specialist Trade Compliance Job Code: 19517 Job Location: REMOTE in EST or CST Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: + ITAR licensing role, candidate will manage TAA and WDA agreements and amendments from drafting to USG submittal to post-approval management to closure; and + Candidate also will support drafting, submission and post-approval management of U.S. export licensing (DSP5, DSP73 / 74, DSP61) as necessary Essential Functions: + Pro-actively manage the lifecycle of U.S. export licensing (DSP5, DSP73, DSP61, TAA, WDA) for SBU operations, to include the drafting, review, submission and post-approval management of all e x port/import license applications , agreements , general correspondence to satisfy e x port/import regulatory time frames and revenue deadlines; + Responsible for post-approval management of all USG export authorizations in coordination with other stakeholders, including provisos, annual reporting, timely return of demo assets, tracking, accounting and recordkeeping + Candidate should have demonstrated professional experience in high transactional volume of complex ITAR licensing involving multiple authorizations utilized concurrently ( DSP5, DSP73, DSP61, TAA, WDA ) to support domestic and international demos, RMAs from domestic and international customers, and product deliveries to international customers. + Experience with WDA authorizations preferred + Provide timely support as required for compliance investigation(s) and give other assistance necessary to address a potential or an actual violation, to include corrective action implementation and follow-up auditing to ensure sustainable solutions to compliance gaps; + Diligently and professionally manage other tasks, projects and/or responsibilities as assigned and/or delegated by the Trade Compliance Manager and/or Empowered Official. Qualifications: + Minimum 5-8 years in a ITAR licensing role + Operational knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR ), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulations, 19 CFR and Foreign Trade Regulations + Experience / Education + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of Trade Compliance experience + Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of Trade Compliance experience + In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. + Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance Preferred Additional Skills: + Export licensing experience in defense/aerospace with ITAR / EAR authorizations + Operational knowledge of OCR EASE (i.e. previously have utilized OCR EASE to manage licensing) + Robust working knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR ), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulations, 19 CFR, and Foreign Trade Regulations + Candidate should be comfortable operating independently in a remote work environment + Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast - paced environment with time-critical deadlines + Strong organizational and time management skills + E x cellent communication skills, teamwork and flexibility + Professionally proficient in the use of PC, included MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $58,500 - $128,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
