Omni Louisville Hotel is the new cornerstone of downtown, which opened its doors on March 6, 2018. Transforming Liberty Street into a pedestrian thoroughfare, the market serves as a community gateway for hotel guests and locals alike, inviting the neighborhood in with the smells of freshly brewed Heine Brothers’ coffee, baked bread, and smoked barbeque.
Job DescriptionThis position will ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner at the Omni Louisville Hotel's Speakeasy, Pin & Proof.
Responsibilities Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer serviceSeat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guestAnswer phone and record reservations for large partiesControl high volume outside of restaurantMonitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and well being of guestsAssist servers when neededThank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience as host in similar dining atmosphere or other relevant F&B experience Open Table knowledge preferred Stong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to handle sensitive guest situations Developed customer service skills with refined phone etiquette Professional appearance, high energy and strong organizational skills Works well with others, pro-active team player Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
