**Description** SAIC is hiring for a **Space Systems Engineer** to support a dynamic program at SAIC. This position is located in **Chantilly, Virginia** and requires an **active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance** to start. The following tasks are representative of those that will be accomplished at the request of the customer: + Develop artifacts and documents. + Review and assess requirements, designs, architectures, CONOPS and verification plans for adequacy of implementation of customer requirements, interface definitions, concepts and reference architecture. + Manage and maintain architectures, CONOPS and requirements through enterprise configuration management boards and approved RFC processes. + Other duties as specified by the customer. **Qualifications** + **Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph** + Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline + Understanding of overall systems engineer process + Basic understanding of DOD/IC satellite systems and architectures + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Available to travel domestically SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
