Who You Are
You’re a creative and detail-oriented Space Planner with a strong ability to design and optimize functional, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. With expertise in layout planning, space utilization, and design principles, you excel at transforming concepts into practical and scalable solutions that meet organizational needs. Your knowledge of building codes, furniture systems, and project management ensures that each design maximizes both form and function.

What You'll Do
In the role of Space Planner, your duties will include:

Analyze space requirements and provide detailed space plans to optimize layouts.

Work closely with architectural and design teams to develop functional and efficient spaces.

Manage and coordinate moves, adds, and changes to office layouts.

Ensure all spaces meet health, safety, and organizational standards.

Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.

Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Requirements:

Must be a US or Australian citizen

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Must Possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.

5+ years of experience in space planning, facilities management or interior design.

Strong understanding of design principles and space optimization.

Proficient in CAD and other design software.

Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.

Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.

This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
