Job Description
The Spa Service Advisor is responsible for guest satisfaction in the spa by providing and maintaining the highest standards of customer service and creating a feeling of comfort and relaxation for our guests. The Spa Service Advisor is directly in control of scheduling guest appointments, group bookings, and confirmation calls. A consistently positive attitude and knowledge of all facets of the operation with attention to detail are required.
Responsibilities
+ Consistently demonstrates Omni’s associate commitments in delivering the best guest service and Spa experience.
+ Know basic front desk operations: including booking, confirmation calls, retail transactions, and assisting guests with locker set-up, robes and sandals.
+ Responsible for checking in guests, providing guest orientation and/or directing guests.
+ Responsible for the general opening of the Spa facility (turning on lights, music, steam, etc.).
+ Replenishes guest amenities including Coed Lounge food and beverage items, retail items, and bottled water for guests’ arrival.
+ Monitor Coed Lounge for guest comfort levels.
+ Provide a list to Spa Leadership when supplies are getting low.
+ Assisting Spa Leadership with the training of new Desk Agents with the booking software.
+ Perform daily general cleaning.
+ Maintain high standards in all guest areas.
+ Any other task that may be assigned by Spa Leadership.
Qualifications
+ Must be 18 years of age.
+ Must be able to lift, hold, and carry up to 40 pounds.
+ Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of the scheduled shift.
+ Must have the availability to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and evening shifts.
+ Knowledge of facility layout and ability to provide directions within the hotel.
+ Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
+ Maintain friendly, professional, congenial personality.
+ Flexibility regarding scheduling. Responsible and dependable.
+ Basic computer knowledge/skills.
+ Ability to make good decisions and be a team player.
+ Past experience preferred but not required.
The resort functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day, weekends, and holidays. All employees, both in management and hourly, must realize that fact and be aware that, at times, it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift as business demands.
