We are looking for a Spa Concierge who is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Spa Concierge is responsible for booking treatments, checking in guests, and ensuring that the guests' spa experience is flawless.
About the role:
Spa Concierge provide the highest level of customer service to ensure a smooth welcome and departure for all guests as well as maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout combined Spa and Fitness areas. Spa Concierge respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort. Spa Concierge provide the best recommendations and customized experiences while following all Four Seasons standards and policies.
What you will do:
Set-up and maintain Spa and Fitness areas including refreshments.
Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa and Fitness services.
Guide guests to their appointments as they relate to Spa and Fitness offerings.
Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenities throughout the Spa and Fitness areas in order to maintain immaculate presentation of these items.
Retrieve linens from laundry and maintain locker room set up; return used linen to laundry.
Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary, Staff Room, and Spa Reception.
Enforce Spa and Fitness rules and regulations for all adult and junior guests.
Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and Guest Experience database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction with all services provided in the Spa and Fitness areas.
Ability to take reservations and provide the highest level of recommendations for our guests.
Ability to accurately complete transactions, handle cash and cash banks.
The ability to set up, utilize, operate and clean/properly sanitize all Spa and Fitness areas.
Ensure compliance of daily, and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all Spa and Fitness areas are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high-quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
Properly manage and stock retail offerings including inventory processes and communication of product needs.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Assist in answering product and treatment questions, as well as assist guests with use and set-up of Spa and Fitness Center space and equipment.
Liaison/introduce guests to service practitioners (i.e. service providers, fitness instructors).
Ability to follow proper payroll procedures.
Ability to ensure safety procedures are followed and able to notify Security of any accidents or injury.
Ability to handle, store and utilize all chemicals properly and safely.
Ability to withstand a maximum of 120 degrees to maintain steam facilities and Spa Gardens.
Assist other staff with set-up and breakdown of their respective treatment areas (service providers, fitness instructors etc.)
Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Front Desk.
What you bring:
High School education or equivalent experience.
CPR, First Aid Certified preferred.
At least one year of experience in luxury hospitality environment.
Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas, highly desirable, however not required.
Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Outgoing personality and at ease with customers.
