Position OverviewAs the Finance Supervisor at Kiewit, you will be the go-to person for all accounting and finance needs at a project level. Each project is managed like a small business, with you acting as the CFO overseeing projects typically up to $200M in size. You will work closely with project and district-level management, providing valuable financial insights. Your main responsibilities will include evaluating construction job costs, conducting data reporting and analysis for management, budgeting and forecasting, and managing all project business staff. In this role, you will also play a key part in training, developing, and leading your team.
District OverviewKiewit's Southeast District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include building bridges, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams, pump stations or tunnels. Although most of our work is regionally based in the southeast region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the east coast. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry instead of design.

Responsibilities Prepare and review project cash flow projections Conduct independent forecasts Identify and quantify risks with advanced Excel skills Lead project forecast reviews using historical and trending data Support Operations team with financial decision-making Manage employee performance and provide coaching Prepare client invoicing and manage accounts receivable Understand prime contracts, change orders, and internal controls Drive continuous improvement and positive change Demonstrate excellent customer service skills Qualifications 5 years of financial/data analysis experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proficient in accounting principles and Microsoft Excel Experience with Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other Excel functions Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills High work ethic and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and in a team High level of professionalism and standards Must be able to access construction sites and travel occasionally Valid Driver’s License required#LI-LM3
