The Sourcing Team Lead position on the Ford Motor Credit Procurement Team is responsible for delivering Indirect Solutions on time, within budget and with compliance to regulatory requirements. Teamwork, collaboration, and great communication skills help ensure that the right supply partner is chosen to deliver the best product and service, to the right stakeholder, at the right price with outstanding quality, on time performance and customer service.

You'll have…

4-year college degree (MBA preferred) Minimum 10+ years of experience (Financial Industry experience a plus) Strong business acumen, team building, collaboration, and communication skills – demonstrated ability to successfully lead cross-functional teams Strong negotiation skills and an understanding of Supply Chain / Purchasing Policies & Procedures, sourcing requirements and key milestones to support stakeholder needs Strong Analytical Skills - sourcing analysis, business case studies, cost analysis (understanding cost drivers and cost modeling) Business case evaluation and risk assessment (e.g. cost analytics, Global Terms, etc.) Concurrent thinker to support the required pace and evolving space, able to maintain focus, manage priorities, and drive results in a dynamic environment High energy with the acute ability to embrace a fast-paced environment  Commercial creativity and ability to negotiate effectively with low / lack of leverage as these spaces are not typically ‘cost’ based Proficient in Excel  Knowledge/experience in Aurora/Ariba preferred Contract development experience (understanding of service contracts, SOWs/SLAs, management by metrics) Strategic mindset – curious, creative, versatile, and ability to see the bigger picture Ability to productively manage meetings, prepare effective agendas, and communicate meeting minutes and decisions to key stakeholders

 What you'll do…

Manage a team of buyers and onboarding staff Analysis of complex data sets and reporting Developing cost saving strategies and roadmaps for category management Improve our sourcing process by identifying weaknesses and developing best-in-class policies and procedures. Support existing and new purchased services for Ford Credit operations Role includes supporting business owners.  These business owners may have limited experience with Ford Supply Chain / Purchasing processes, policies, systems, etc. Act as liaison between suppliers, business owners, vendor management, security & controls, and Office of General Counsel/IT Contracts/Corporate Insurance to negotiate PO Terms & Conditions and Statements of Work Lead RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ) initiatives to evaluate services & sourcing decisions Experience dealing with non-Standard Terms and Conditions a plus Conduct appropriate sourcing activities that deliver a quality service, at the best cost, with minimal risks to Ford Motor Credit Company Provide feedback to valued supply partners on cost position relative to market to build effective long-term, productive relationships. Work with the Business Owners and internal stakeholders to stay abreast of current and future technologies, understand latest supply base footprint, financial health ratings, and trends Participate in the new supplier onboarding due diligence process
