Your Role

As a Sourcing Manager at CSL you will be responsible for managing the sourcing of Maintenance, Repairs, and Operations (MRO) equipment, engineering services and capital goods to support requirements consistent with quality, reliability, service, cost and delivery.

You’ll evaluate suppliers, create and maintain contracts and negotiate pricing to develop and implement sourcing strategies that underpin our global approach to deliver value and protect final product availability for our Patients.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Engineering and Capex Sourcing Lead in Broadmeadows, you will ensure continuous and responsible supply to our production sites in the region including:

Partnering with senior business stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, conduct buyer/market profiles, share marketplace trends, share best practices, and define acceptable service levelsLeading RFx activities for new and existing opportunities, negotiate contracts, and coordinate supplier integration plans with internal stakeholders.Managing and owning key and critical supplier relationships with focus on performance management KPI’s and continuous improvementConducting regular Operational Reviews as per Procurement’s Governance processesSupport ongoing performance and risk reporting within function and presenting to senior business leadersEnsure clear objectives and sourcing strategies in the reduction of the total cost of ownership and risk, while increasing innovation, sustainability, customer service, compliance and qualityParticipate in global transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of targeted benefits

Your Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Communications, or equivalentProcurement/supply management experienceExperience within the pharmaceutical industry or related regulated industry preferred but not essentialDemonstrated experience in successfully negotiating complex supply agreementsCollaboration skills and demonstrable experience influencing peers and key stakeholders in a global matrix organisationCategory Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Relationship Management knowledge and execution
