The successful candidate will help build Cushman & Wakefield’s brand in the skilled trades community and labor market. Reporting to the Manager, Sourcing & Corp Functions, the role will work to define attraction strategies that include marketing campaigns, activities, and events to generate a strong skilled trades pipeline. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume skilled trades sourcing in a fast-paced and demanding professional environment. The person will be an enthusiastic individual passionate about providing excellent customer service and with a process improvement mindset.Job Description
Attract top-skilled trade talent within the skilled trades industry and beyondPartner with the business to create efficient and effective recruitment strategies for sourcing, pipelining, and urgent requisitionsAssist with managing and growing our employment brand and recruiting presence across social media channelsAnalyze and build recommendations based on dataPlan and execute events, including creating invitations on various recruitment platforms, managing registrations, coordinating with business leaders, and managing logistics from conception to executionTrack results by performing clear and concise status reports on the effectiveness of engagement and outreach activitiesDevelop and create a feedback loop by informing skilled trades retention strategies with relevant market intel and insightBuild and maintain solid relationships with contacts at target schoolsManage high volume engagement for skilled trades technical talent from trade schools, technical schools, community colleges, vocational high schools, etc.Generate a diverse candidate pool using various methods including social media, event management, job boards, membership organizations, and personal networkingCreate promotional recruiting flyers, including sourcing content, writing, and laying out information in established templatesDesign and conduct engaging talent outreach campaignsScreen applications/resumes and conduct phone interviews with applicants to ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications and are an organizational fit for C&WStay up-to-date on new engagement tools, best practices, and how the team can best utilize these recruiting and networking toolsProvide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and positions, reinforcing the values and culture of Cushman & WakefieldAct as a C&W ambassador to attract top talent to the CompanyBuild proactively an ongoing pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and repeat positions to ensure future talent needs are metDevelop candidate talent pipelines through sourcing channels, recruitment campaigns, internet searches, networking groups, social media, database search, referrals, and advertisingSource for multiple searches and support several hiring managers and business leaders simultaneouslyAssist with ad hoc projects as neededQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related function2+ years of experience recruiting for skilled trades technical talent from trade schools, technical skills, community colleges, vocational high schools, etc.Experience with both candidate recruitment and business development side of the recruiting deskA creative eye for engaging content and brand adherenceDesire to constantly interact/communicate with various personalities, maintaining solid working relationships with skilled trade workers, business unit hiring managers, clients, and target school contactsStrong knowledge of various sourcing tools and methodologiesStrong skills in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and PublisherTechnologically savvy in using social media and career websitesExperience with Workday recruitment management tools and/or ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) is a plusExceptional time management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
