Provides administrative and analytical support to the Sourcing Director and Managers who work in the Sourcing group for the Verizon account. The Sourcing group is responsible for the selection of suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing a large database of suppliers and key metrics that support the client contract.Job Description
Principal Responsibilities
This position requires someone who is willing to take direction from the Director and Manager to complete specific assignments in support of the sourcing function. This work includes: the distribution and tracking of contracts, contractual amendments, and other documents that go out for signature; entering data into excel and uploading documents into a shared folder. Ownership of accuracy for the work performed and the control of documents. Review of the contract file for the correct documents and following up with suppliers to obtain missing documents or corrections. General support, including ad hoc projects on an as needed request. Communication within the group and with internal clients and support groups on an ongoing basis. Management of group’s Supplier and Rate Directory; including the application of any new or updated data, such as recently onboarded suppliers, rate and supplier information, and removing any deactivated suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma; College Degree preferred
· 5 years support experience or equivalent
· Intermediate MS Office Suite skills – must know word, excel and power point
· Intermediate knowledge of Google Sheets and Smartsheet
· Ability to obtain information from various parts of the organization and summarize the data
· Ability to deal and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
Required Skills
· Working knowledge of how to gather data and assemble into Excel, Smartsheet and Google either for tracking or analysis purposes.
· Must be able to take direction, communicate effectively and possess good verbal and written skills.
· Able to analyze the quality of the work that is being self-performed and work in a fast paced environment.
· Possess the awareness to understand and prioritize projects as they arise.
· Prior experience working with contracts and in a sourcing or procurement group is preferred.
· Capable of working independently and within a team in a highly visible position.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
