GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) Operational Excellence Analyst
About the Role:
The GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) Operational Excellence Analyst will be responsible for leading and coordinating process improvement initiatives within the GBS Source-to-Pay (S2P) team. This role focuses on driving efficiency, standardization, and automation across procurement, supplier enablement, invoice processing, and payment operations. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in process optimization, project management, and stakeholder collaboration.
Core Responsibilities:Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in the S2P process, analyze root causes, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational performance.Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects aimed at improving service delivery, automation, and compliance within the S2P function.Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Procurement, Finance, IT, Supplier Enablement) and external partners to align operational improvements with business objectives.Automation & Digitalization: Support the adoption of automation tools and technology solutions to streamline manual processes and improve data accuracy.Standardization & Best Practices: Assist Manager with implementation of standardized procedures, ensuring alignment with global best practices and compliance requirements.Reporting & Insights: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership through detailed reporting and analysis.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or project management within procurement, finance, or shared services.Strong understanding of S2P processes, including procurement, supplier enablement, invoice processing, and payments.Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) and process automation tools (RPA, Coupa, SAP, or similar platforms).Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive meaningful change within the GBS S2P function, enhancing efficiency, automation, and overall process excellence.Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
