About This Role:
As a Solutions Partner, this individual will design solutions for our premier government clients’ most challenging business problems and strategies to drive growth in the age of the customer. Common client needs and solutions center on customer experience transformation, digital and IT transformation, AI integration, and security and privacy. The successful candidate will represent the full power of Forrester’s product portfolio, working with product owners and subject-matter experts (SMEs) to efficiently design a solution tailored to a client’s specific business objective. By orchestrating full-suite solutions, this individual will understand what drives your clients’ success, challenge them to think differently, and provide highly valued business insight to enable them to win, serve, and retain customers.
Job Description:
Leverage your business and public sector acumen and knowledge of the value of Forrester’s products and services to bring new thinking and insights to business leaders and facilitate them in defining their objectives, challenges, risks, and opportunities.Architect solutions drawn from Forrester’s products and services to address client objectives, needs, and opportunities.Build trust, deliver insights, and build influence with executive-level buyers by connecting with their concerns and issues and articulating the value of solutions in meeting their business needs.Work with SMEs to create premier client proposals, enlist support for proposal reviews, and finalize scoping and engagement documents prior to coordinating with a client executive to enable the close.Work with account teams to capture and describe the value and impact of the Forrester partnership on the client’s top priorities and initiatives.Work closely with the product and consulting organizations to provide feedback and insights on how greater value can be provided to clients given changing market conditions and the business transformations they are driving.Identify strategic vertical themes and articulate Forrester’s vertical-specific perspective to enable colleagues within the sales team to differentiate Forrester’s offering in resonate ways for our clients.Job Requirements:
A proven track record of adopting a consultative approach to strategic selling, facilitating conversations, and building relationships with business leaders at the VP level and above — ideally SES’s, CMOs, CIOs, CTOs, and CDOs — to help them define their problems and opportunities for growth (15-plus years).A proven track record of organizational problem solving, making broad connections between business and market issues, and envisioning multifaceted client solutions to drive growth (15-plus years).Five years’ experience working within the public sector and/or in an advisory role for public sector senior executives.Experience in writing and presenting complex client proposals to the C-suite that leverage an organization’s full capabilities.Relevant, transferable industry experience that includes the complexity of multiple intangible products and solutions, e.g., business consulting, professional services, and financial services.A proven track record of successful sales opportunity project management, demonstrating the ability to leverage the right resources at the right time to complete client proposals.Experience with account portfolio planning to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.Experience gained in research, customer experience, and technology strategy, e.g., leveraging digital solutions as drivers of change within organizations.Experience in collaborating with remote clients, sales teams, and product and delivery teams.This salary range is based upon the position as described in the job listing. The offered compensation may vary within this range and is dependent upon the successful candidate’s primary work location, experience, training, education, and credentials.
Base salary range: $138,859 - $226,559
