Mission and responsibilities: 

Are you ready to be part of a cutting-edge environment where innovation and technology meet to redefine the future of digital banking? We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team at Openbank. 

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts: 

Collaborate directly with CTO and different stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into innovative technical solutions that align with the bank's digital strategy. 

Design end-to-end solutions for digital banking initiatives, leveraging the latest technologies and industry best practices. 

Develop and promote architectural standards and principles that drive the bank's digital transformation journey. 

Lead architecture reviews, provide technical expertise, and ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the solutions. 

Evaluate emerging technologies and propose strategic solutions to enhance the bank's digital capabilities and customer experiences. 

Work closely with cross-functional teams including business, cloud infrastructure, security and GlobalCTO within Santander Group to deliver high-impact solutions that meet business objectives. 

Mentor junior architects and contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture practices within the organization. 

Lead initiatives in innovation projects, adaptation of new technologies and efficiency processes within the bank. 

To be successful in the role you must have: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced certifications or relevant training in architecture frameworks (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable. 

Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Solutions Architect in the banking, financial services, or fintech sector, with a track record of designing and implementing innovative solutions. 

Deep knowledge of digital banking trends, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, API design, and data modeling. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders. 

Proven leadership and collaboration abilities, with a passion for driving innovation and delivering value through technology. 

Experience in big data, security, APIs and cloud architectures technologies. 

Nice to have: Experience onpremise banking platform, mainframe, gateways from payments and cards would be complementary.
