Solution Sales Manager, Data and Applied Analytics - Corporate R&D Markets (MAEU)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced solution sales professional who will be responsible for driving revenue by developing and executing on a strategic sales plan. As we see our customers develop and execute on digital transformation strategies, this role will focus on helping our customers deliver on the associated ambitions and challenges within the corporate R&D value chain. You would be concentrating on one of our key markets which is the Engineering&Technology (E&T) market in the MAEU region. This includes chemical companies as well as Material Science.

Responsibilities

Generating revenue by delivering sales that are based on our market leading data and analytics solutions portfolio.

Upselling to applied analytics and achieve cross-sell of products to bring additional value to meet our customer's objectives.

Focussing on Corporate R&D accounts in the E&T market in MAEU. This individual should have excellent networking skills to navigate through complex company organization structures.

Building strategic relationships with research leaders, department heads of data science and digital transformation.

Working effectively and collaboratively across our matrixed organization to ensure you make the most of the considerable resources at your disposal.

Bringing market insights back into the business to ensure of our products and services remain compelling. You will be expected to capture and effectively articulate the emerging challenges and opportunities from our customers digital transformation programs.

 

 

Requirements

Have previous business to business sales experience with proven track record (science background preferred).

Have the ability to manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.

Be able to travel up to 40% based on business needs in the assigned territory.

Demonstrated understanding of strategic and consultative selling principles.

Develop long term relationships with relevant personas and key stakeholders up to C suite level. Including networking skills to navigate through complex company structures

Negotiate, close sales, pipeline management, Lead generation, coaching and developing associates in a complex culture.

Display excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and present. Adapt to audiences to communicate complex solutions in formal and informal settings.

Knowledge of digital transformation paradigm with emphasis on the life sciences domain.
