The Solution Developer within our Advanced Placement and Electives (APE) School division of McGraw Hill is expected to support the print and digital development and editorial and production work for APE educational products. This often involves working with Product Managers, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to develop content specifically for the Advanced Placement and Electives market. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This is a Project Status Worker (PSW) role. What you will be doing: Plan, develop, and test print and digital products that are in alignment with requirements and specifications of the project Serve as content generalists (APE products include science, humanities, math, ELA programs)-artfully developing or repurposing content to produce accurate, error-free, high-quality products that meet curriculum standards and market requirements Track and follow approved workflows at all stages, and meet all intermediate and final schedules Effectively communicate across multiple teams to ensure that market requirements, product requirements, project schedules, project budgets, and product needs are met Stay up to date on emerging educational technology within the K-12 education field and adjacent fields Manage external SMEs and production vendors to ensure products are built to requirements Track and manage the overall spend for assigned projects We are looking for someone with… Bachelor's Degree required Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Experienced team player with problem-solving skills who is dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer expectations Excellent communication skills Knowledge of content development and instructional design Editorial experience is a plus Knowledge of the AP and/or electives markets is a plus Production experience a plus Why work for us? The pay range for this position is between $50,000-$80,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
